Susan I'm mike and yes I do feel like a lost child some.  Really just once.   My wife & i went to a large store & I asigned myself a seat to wait on her to shop.  By the time she showed up I was feeling very nervous.  This was about a year ago.  It'll be 5 years this March 28th for me with my massive stroke.  The feeling was very difficult to deal with & I'm thankful it hasn't happened again.  We travel quite a bit and I would miss getting to do that.  To give a word of… Continue

It's a scary feeling being a 51 year old woman, but feeling like a 6 year old wandering around without  adult  supervision!  Sincemy stroke 6 months ago,  I find myself afraid to be left alone in even thesmallest local shops, it's like I " need " my husband or one of my children along to instruct me when I try browsing at clothes or anything else in a public place! I wasalways the onethat could walk into any  store& find my way. Is this normal?  WHAT is "Normal" after a stroke? Is every…
