After talking with my wife and son this AM they agreed it wa about 3 years before it came back is he on any drugs? I DID NOT get better till I was off the crud . For people like me one size fits all therapy does not work? For example they were trying to teach me to wear socks? I have not worn socks since I retired from the Navy? I has about 3 pairs I wore when wearing my motocycle boots while racing? The best thing for me was buying an iPod to listen to music and a Kindle from Amazon.com that allows me to enjoy reading again due to being able to adjust the font size, try different things and when you find the one he likes stick with it.

When I first awoke from my coma I could only make noises like a seal? It was so strange I knew what I wanted to say but it never came out right? I remember spending time with some woman who was supposed to be a speech therapist and I would laugh at her nonesense having my roll my toungue into a tube and press it against my teeth? I played along best I could but did not get better till I got home away from them as soon as I could crawl I crawled to the front door and got in my truck and drove to our senior citizen center every morning to try to tslk, it took awhile but I now speak in public, it will come back but who knows how long it takes? I think it is all up to us.
