>hello,I am very fortunate to have survived the stroke I had. I had a stroke in2004. Im sure all of you know most stroke recovery on its own will be in the first 3 months. My stroke was on the left side of the brain, It is called a hemianopsyia stroke. It affected my sight only. The limbs and all other parts of the brain are ok. It affected loss of side vision to the right side. My sight was slightly blurred and had lack of definition. I can drive, work outside the home and do home remodeling on my own home. I went thru hell to get to this point. If there is anyone with similar situation, or for people looking for help I would love to hear from you. There is so much out on the internet for physical rehab but very little for eyesight like mine. You can reach me at jkl71358@hotmail.com or call me 920-893-0994.

Just joined your goup a little bit ago. MY EMAIL IS JKL71358@HOTMAIL.COM. I had a hemianopsyias stroke which effected my sight. I am doing well with the help of Dr. Ricarh windsor of the low vision center of Indiana. I just got new glasses in may 2009 and I am reading better every day. I drive , work out of the home. My life is better. It would be nice to hear from some other stroke survivors.
