Emotions can be a real issue for survivors and care givers. In my case, I had a lot of anger for the first few months (It's been 6 years now). I had to work a lot on acceptance to clear my mind so I could begin the recovery process with a good attitude. Frustration is a constant issue for me. I live alone, so I have the luxury of blowing off steam in private, which makes it easier to keep a lid on my frustration around people

I;m the caregiver. My hubby had a stroke 1 year ago. Phisicaly he's doing very well. It's the emotional stuff that we both are having trouble with.
